Local youth have a great time at the Center's first Teen Night!

The Center hosted a unique night at the Center for youth and Young Adults on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Approximately 30 teens visited the Center and were treated to a special tour of the current exhibit by the Center’s Curator of Exhibitions Meaghan Kent.

The teens had the opportunity to meet teens with similar interests and creating their own original zine, as well as playing board games with their new friends.

The Center’s Education Coordinator, Akilah Somersall, met with the youth and talked to them about our Teen Arts Ambassadors program, a club for teens interested in the arts, and upcoming programs for younger students.
