Patrons combined the creativity of art and the whimsy of motion at this month’s Free Arts! Family Day. Families made an original thaumatrope, an old-timey optical-illusion toy popular in the 1800's. Everyone had an amazing time with this magical curiosity that laid the groundwork for modern day animation.
