Men on Beach_edited.jpg

Pablo Cano was born in Havana, Cuba and is based in Miami. He holds a BA from Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA from Queens College in New York. His influences include traditional marionette theater and performance art by the Dadaists of the 1920s. Cano’s first mediums included painting, drawing, and ceramics. Through his performance art, he continually explores the challenges of space, movement, color, light, and sound. Cano’s work has been shown at the MOCA North Miami, and he has performed and exhibited in Lincoln Center Out of Doors and Lincoln Center Gallery, both in New York.
