Jen Gravelle
Jen Gravelle is an ancestral Mexican spirit of vibrant, colorful mariachi cultivated in San Antonio, Texas, and planted into the hills, clay, banjos, and museums of Northern Virginia. The diverse inspirations were further expanded by a curiosity about science, math, travel, nature, and human behavior. Art and philosophy bring it all together. Art flowed from clay, sculpture, sewing, weaving, interior design, and jewelry and then finally landed into painting after learning how to do body henna art. Painting has been a harmony of movement and meditation. Much of her inspiration has come from dreams.
