"The best way to know me is to look at my art." - Eduardo DaRosa

Eduardo DaRosa was born in Alentejo, Portugal and has been based in Miami for the past 30 years. His sense of vocation started early in life. By the age of 18, he had his first poetry book published. He left for Paris in the '70s and roamed through central Europe, mostly living in Germany. DaRosa then moved to Canada and traveled extensively throughout North America. It was in Mexico that DaRosa encountered a form of Art that influenced him not only for its form and content, but for the empathetic experience that it projects on the viewer - the mural! For days, DaRosa watched Siqueiros’ "Polyform Mural" being executed, and also had the privilege to witness the painting of a work of the magnitude of the "March of Humanity on Earth and Towards the Cosmos". This work greatly influenced the way DaRosa views and comprehends fine art today.
