“Back in the 1960s when I was in graduate school at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee I saw my first Stuart Davis painting in person at the Milwaukee Art Center. In 1976, while I was living in the Boston area I did a watercolor painting of 64 details from Davis paintings. Currently, I have completed a series of 30 x 40in canvases based on details from my 1976 Davis details.

I lived in New York for twenty years and periodically showed at the Caelum Gallery on West 26th Street in the Chelsea gallery district. I have been a resident of Hollywood since 2004. Also , I have maintained a studio in San Juan, Puerto Rico since the days of Hurricane Hugo in 1989.”
