Luis Alonzo Barkigia: Mundos Perfeitos

Mundos Perfeitos offers a skewed geometric playground that speaks to the notion of Utopia. New York-based Barkigia presents an organic environment in which spheres, cubes, and planes have been transfigured and molded into aberrations of themselves. Far from grotesque, these pieces evoke a playful quality in their distorted shapes as they join together to create a symbiotic environment.

Patrick DeCastro: Quand le Soleil Brille

Quand le Soleil Brille features a selection of works in mixed media by Haitian artist Patrick DeCastro. In his work, DeCastro attempts to share the distinctive world of his personal experience with Haitian vaudou and New York high fashion.

Stephan Tugrul: En Masse

En Masse presents a selection of new works by Turkish-American, North Miami-based artist Stephan Tugrul. Working with collage, he constructs new images through a process of combining found elements appropriated from a variety of source materials.

Sinisa Kukec: And Yet Another Wayward Landscape

Including undulating biomorphic forms made of porcelain or plaster, Sinisa Kukec’s exhibition features sculptures growing from found objects, the walls, floor, or ceiling, some of almost monolithic scale and others of undersized dimensions, frequently conflicting with the historically scripted media of sculpture, craft, and design.

Abracadabra: Third Annual Fund-Raising Art Exhibition and Raffle

Now in its third year, this exhibition and fund-raiser is comprised of a selection of approximately 100 works in all media by artists who have been invited to participate. Abracadabra culminates with a raffle of all of these outstanding, donated art works. All available art will be on exhibition prior to the evening of the raffle, affording an opportunity to preview the art before the main event!
