TM Sisters: IDEALTONIGHT

Opening reception: Friday, Feb 20, 6 - 9 pm
Exhibition runs through April 5, 2009

Special free closing reception with live performance: Fri., April 3, 7 – 10 pm

On Friday, April 3, the TM Sisters will stage a collaborative live performance with the band Mod’lone as part of the closing weekend of their electrifying and mesmerizing exhibition, IDEALTONIGHT. This special free event commemorates the closing of their first institutional solo show.

Glowing, tropical nights contain uncertain hope. Light vibrates through its darkness. Golden desires of hearts and minds become reality through the calm.

This exhibition will be the first institutional solo show for the TM Sisters, a South Florida artists collaborative consisting of sisters Tasha and Monica Lpez De Victoria. Over the past few years, their groundbreaking work has garnered tremendous critical acclaim, and they are making their mark on the international art scene with their site specific museum and gallery installations, videos and live performances. Dont miss seeing the works of these up and coming artists!

Collaborative live performance by the artists with musicians to happen night of opening. An exhibition catalog is available for purchase.
