Nathan Sawaya is an artist who specializes in creating sculptures using only LEGO bricks as his medium. This 68 page, full color, softcover book is a fun and whimsical review of Nathan Sawaya’s body of work. In addition to the artist’s own commentary in the book, writer Scott Jones provides insight on how to view Sawaya’s work.

The Official Tillamook Cheddar Biography, $15
Portrait of the Dog as a Young Artist (80 pages, softcover) profiles Tillamook Cheddar, the world’s preeminent canine painter, with photographs and descriptive text by her “assistant,” F. Bowman Hastie III. Hastie recounts Tillie’s early life in Brooklyn and details her evolution from promising amateur to canine Caravaggio. Copies are signed by the author and bear the mark of Tillie, the Artist.
Hollywood: Then & Now, $25
This 128 page, softcover book features a comparison of vintage and modern day images to illustrate area growth and development. Most of the more than 200 images in Hollywood were culled from the extensive collection of the Hollywood Historical Society and includes photos of the Art and Culture Center.
