Procedure for Artist Review
The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood is always interested in seeing work with which we are not familiar. In order to become acquainted with your work, we ask that you submit slides or other photographic documentation no larger than 8 × 11”, videos, DVDs, CD-Roms, or a website address (we do not accept original work or models). When submitting materials, please mark your envelope “Artist Review.”
To facilitate the review process, please provide the following:
1. Representations of your work:
a. Maximum of 20 slides in a plastic sheet. Each slide should be labeled with the artist’s name, title of work, date, medium, & dimensions. Slide key with the above information.
b. Photographs, videos, DVDs, or CD-ROMs should also be clearly labeled with the same above information.
2. Resume
3. Brief artist statement
4. Self-addressed, stamped envelope to return work.
If you would like to have your work reviewed on a website,
please e-mail your URL to curator@artandculturecenter.org note “artist review” in the subject line of your e-mail.
The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood receives numerous submissions and reviews them on an on-going basis in the order they arrive. IT GENERALLY TAKES 4-6 MONTHS BEFORE YOU WILL RECEIVE A REPLY.
