In this two-person exhibition, viewers are engaged to reflect on their own memories of objects and longing for the slow passage of time.

Gamaliel R. Herrera is a self-taught artist, freelance curator, and contemporary art collector whose work employs an interplay of found materials, collage elements, paint pours and stains.
While walking through distinctly delineated color zones, inhabitants of Christian Feneck’s installation, Hidden Color, are meant to experience gradations that change and redefine our discernment of space.
The Art and Culture Center/Hollywood’s Board of Trustee Immediate Past Chair Misty Weinger, CPA, CFF, CVA was recognized by the Florida Association of Museums as its 2018 Outstanding Trustee. The announcement was made during the 2018 Annual Museum Service Awards on October 2, 2018 in Naples, FL.

Stage Kids – Encore! teaches students how their musical theater skills can be taken to the next level! This vocal ensemble is for students who love to perform. Students develop greater musicianship and enhance their vocal technique while gaining dance skills and stage presence. Each session ends in a show-stopping performance for family and friends.
The Arts Aspire program promotes strong leadership as well as college and career readiness for students and young adults ages 14-21. Arts Aspire activities at all three levels take place in a professional environment in which participants interact with business and community leaders, cultural organizations, non-profits, K-12 schools, universities, as well as families and patrons who take part in Center programs.
Ages 8 – 14
Tuesdays, 4:30 – 6:30 pm
Students are immersed in performance techniques such as voice, acting, and movement. The Stage Kids gain skills in character development, projection, articulation, creative thinking, and concentration. Each session ends in a show-stopping final performance for family and friends.
Ages 6 – 10
Wednesdays, 4 – 6 pm
ARTastic Collaborations provides an exciting opportunity for students to immerse into the world of the visual and performing arts. During the first hour, students experience various forms of visual arts, such as drawing, painting, designing and much more! The second half of the class immerses students in theatrical and acting skills such as projection, stage presence, improvisation and articulation.
The Art and Culture Center offers private instruction for students of all ages and skill levels. These one-on-one lessons give students the ability to progress at their own pace, allowing them to gain full understanding of the discipline being taught.
As the third oldest arts nonprofit in Broward County, the Art and Culture Center/Hollywood has impacted hundreds of thousands of people through its innovative, high-quality programming in the visual and performing arts.
