Jan. 26 – Feb. 24, 2013
Opening Reception: Fri., Jan. 25, 6 – 9 pm
Contemporary artist Matu Croney’s work presents interplay between drawing, photography, collage, sculpture, and performance in the form of esoteric assemblages and audio/visual installations. Croney’s practice is informed by ancient history, counterculture movements, metaphysics, personal mythologies, cultural appropriation, and internet proliferation in an ongoing search to unify the digital and archaic experience. Croney is a graduate of the University of the Arts, London, and the Universität der Künste, Berlin.
