Summer Camp Instructors

The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood is looking for dynamic, creative teachers to work with their summer camp programs. All positions are contractual with competitive salary.

Advanced Musical Theatre Instructors and Choreographers-Directors, Music, Voice, Dance, Tech
The Art and Culture Center is looking for enthusiastic and creative musical theatre instructors and choreographers to teach our Broadway Actors and Broadway Actors Advanced summer camp program. Instructors will introduce acting, music, dance and technical techniques to ages 8-15 and 12-18. With guidance, instructors will create their own curriculum based on Sunshine State Standards and will use a copyrighted production kit. Each session culminates in a full-scale production. Four week sessions. Monday through Friday all day.

Assistant Teachers
The Art and Culture Center is looking for enthusiastic and creative individuals to work with instructors of our various summer camp programs. Assistant teachers will also be responsible for before or after care activities. Morning and afternoon times available for all of our camps.

Qualifications and Qualities for all teaching positions
  • 3 or more years experience working with the specific age group and discipline for which you are applying. Certified teacher a plus
  • Punctual and reliable with attention to detail
  • Ability to interact positively with children, parents, and coworkers
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team
  • Positive classroom management
  • Experience creating lesson plans and curriculum (incorporating Sunshine State Standards) for subject being taught
  • Must pass background check

The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood is looking for dynamic, creative teachers to work with their upcoming programs. All positions are contractual with competitive salary.

Elementary, Middle and High Art Instructors

The Art and Culture Center is looking for enthusiastic and creative art instructors to teach our youth programs. Instructors will introduce variety of art techniques to grades 4-12. With guidance, instructors will create their own curriculum based on Sunshine State Standards. Each session culminates in a student exhibition.

Elementary Drama Instructors

The Art and Culture Center is looking for enthusiastic and creative drama instructors to teach our youth programs. Instructors will introduce variety of drama techniques to ages 6-12. With guidance, instructors will create their own curriculum based on Sunshine State Standards. Each session culminates in a production.

Musical Theatre Instructors- Directing, Dance, Music, and Tech

The Art and Culture Center is looking for enthusiastic and creative musical theatre instructors to teach a variety of youth programs on site and with outreach. Instructors will introduce variety of visual and performing art techniques to ages 8-15. With guidance, instructors will create their own curriculum based on Sunshine State Standards. Each session culminates in a full-scale production.

Nude Models for Figure Drawing Class

The Art and Culture Center is looking for male and female figure models to pose as a live nude model for our Drop-In Figure Drawing Classes every second Thursday of the month. All ages (21+) and body types are encouraged including pregnancy. Previous experience a plus, but may consider a beginner with a visual and/or performing arts background. Please apply with at least two recent, fully clothed body shots and resume.
