This interactive concert will appeal to the imagination and wonder of young children. The performance includes an instrument “petting zoo” where audience members hold and use actual instruments. Be part of the fun with Major Music Presents, an introduction to the magical world of classical music!

This concert is presented in partnership with Florida Youth Orchestra. Since 1988, the Florida Youth Orchestra has provided the high quality classical music education for young talented musicians ages 6-19. Over 300 members strong, the Orchestra continues to be recognized as Florida’s premier youth orchestra. Under the direction and guidance of its Music Director, Thomas Sleeper, the orchestras and ensembles perform for thousands of concertgoers each year in addition to regular appearances on local and national television and radio.

Cost: Free for members, $7 for non-members, $4 for non-member youth (18 years or older).

Location: Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center, US-1 and Monroe Street (1770 Monroe Street).
