TVM Productions Inc. in association with Fox Television Studios is currently shooting a new television series here in South Florida entitled The Glades. Set to air on A & E in summer 2010, The Glades is a one-hour drama about Jim Longworth, a brilliant Chicago homicide cop who relocates to Florida after his former captain wrongfully accuses him of an affair with his wife and shoots him. With trademark quick wit and a penchant for ruffling feathers, Longworth navigates through his strange, new and uniquely Florida surroundings, grappling with forces not often seen back in the Windy City. This new series is providing dozens of jobs and will help to support many local production related businesses throughout our local area.

TVM is shooting this new series here in Broward County now through the beginning of September 2010. We will be shooting scenes at the Art & Culture Center of Hollywood, Located at 1650 Harrison Street, Hollywood, FL 33109. Our use of this property will have some impact on you as a neighboring resident/business owner and we would like to work closely with you to insure our activities cause as little disruption to local residents as possible.

We will be parking our equipment vehicles on S. 17 Avenue from Harrison Street to Van Buren Street, therefore the street will be closed to vehicular traffic. We will be parking our crew and basecamp vehicles on private property, and we will be doing intermittent traffic control on Harrison Street at S. 17 Avenue for three (3) to five (5) minutes at a time throughout the day for our shots. We will have City of Hollywood off-duty police officers with us throughout the day to insure that there is as little disruption to your neighborhood’s day-to-day activities as possible.

All approvals and arrangements for our shoot are being carefully coordinated by our Locations Department who is working closely with City of Hollywood officials in order to insure we obtain any and all necessary permits and permissions for our activities; we would like to carefully coordinate with business owners/residents in the neighborhood surrounding our shooting location to insure that filming is a pleasant experience for everyone involved.
