With origami, music and audience participation, audience will launch out into a magical entry of the East. The performance will be followed at 2 pm by a free outdoor workshop where families will work together in the quiet setting fold paper, learn, help each other and have fun. In this 45 minute session families will lean to make origami, tracing the history of origami from its roots in Japan. Supplies are limited and participation will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
The performance and workshop will be held outdoors in the Main Stage area at the ArtsPark at Young Circle. In the event of inclement weather, all activities will be moved to the Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center located at US1 and Monroe Street.
