Broward County Public Art and Design 30 Year Retrospective
July 8 – August 20, 2006
Opening Reception, Friday, July 7
Broward County’s Public Art and Design Program celebrates 30 years of service. This milestone will be commemorated in part by the creation of a traveling exhibition featuring design proposals, models, and renderings of over 50 different public art works that currently enhance many of our public spaces. Discover the story and artists’ vision behind each artwork. Join us in this amazing journey through 30 years of evolution of Broward County’s Public Art.
The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supported in part by its members, admissions, private entities, the City of Hollywood, the Broward County Board of County Commissioners as recommended by the Broward Cultural Council; the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs, the Florida Council on Arts and Culture; and the Kresge Foundation. We welcome donations from all members of the community who wish to support our work.
