Art and Culture Center a beneficiary of the Gibson Foundation's Miami GuitarTown

We are pleased to have been one of three organizations to be selected to benefit from the Gibson Foundation’s Miami GuitarTown Project. 68 guitars – 10-foot-tall fiberglass Gibson Les Paul Guitar sculptures and regular sized Epiphone Casino guitars – which have been artistically designed and painted by South Florida and nationally acclaimed visual artists and were exhibited publicly throughout Miami and surrounding areas. A number of these unique guitars are signed by celebrities such as the Allman Brothers Band, Willy Chirino, Gloria Estefan, Katy Perry, Jon Secada, and Thalia.

On Saturday, Sept. 26, the sculptures were auctioned off at a gala event at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, and the proceeds will be divided between the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation, and the Miami Music & Art Fund. Our heartfelt thanks to the Gibson Foundation.
