Hollywood, FL (July 20, 2018) – As part of its continued support of the community and the arts, BBX Capital Foundation provided a $3,500 check to the Art and Culture Center/Hollywood to support the organization’s 2018 Summer Arts Camp and its Broadway Actors’ production of Disney’s “The Lion King Jr.,” and Disney’s “Peter Pan Jr.” The check was presented prior to the campers performance of “The Lion King” Jr on July 7.

The Center’s Broadway Actors next performance, “Peter Pan Jr.,” will take place on Friday August 10 and Saturday, August 11 at 5:30 pm at the Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center, 1770 Monroe Street. The public is invited. Tickets are available to the general public. Admission $10 adults, $8 for children.

Summer Arts Camp offers the opportunity for kids ages 4-18 of all skill levels to participate in interdisciplinary programs from June 12 through August 18. Families may choose from a half- or full-day sessions, giving the campers the opportunity to participate in visual and/or performing arts. Each session of camp ends with a performance or an exhibition of artwork, allowing children to put the skills they’ve learned into practice.
