Join us for an afternoon performance of classical music that inspired the artist Arturo E. Mosquera. Oscar Bustillo will perform samples of music by Mozart and Beethoven that echo the rhythmic brushstrokes, sweeping colors, and spiritual emotion in the paintings by Mosquera. After the performance enjoy a guided mindfulness practice by our Curator, Jodi Sypher, using the work of Arturo E. Mosquera as the object of attention for the practice.

Join us on June 6 for a special reception and screening of Wes Anderson’s The Phoenician Scheme starring Benicio del Toro, Mia Threapleton, Michael Cera, Riz Ahmed, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Mathieu Amalric, Richard Ayoade, Jeffrey Wright, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rupert Friend, Hope Davis et al. In honor of Juneteenth, we invite you to join us for a powerful celebration of freedom, expression, and Black cultural legacy through the arts. The Juneteenth Sessions will feature two impactful workshops: a spoken word session led by artist Marlo Vashti, and an energizing step dance workshop led by the incredible Mike Wood.

Enjoy free admission from 12-4 PM on the 3rd Sunday of every month to explore different mediums through drop-in art making activities designed to appeal to all ages. This month we are celebrating Father's Day with a special presentation of Pablo Cano's Musical Marionettes at 1:00 PM and a hands-on activity from 12-4 PM with Jim Hammond, puppet master for Broadway’s The Lion King.

Join us for a prelude to the Hollywood Art Walk  with a complimentary Champagne Welcome and  Curated Gallery Tour. After the Center Gallery Tour, explore more of Downtown Hollywood. The Art Walk occurs the 3rd Saturday night of the month from 6 - 10 PM with an Artisan Market and Live Music, 6 PM Mural Project Walking Tour, 7 PM Choose954 Guided Gallery Tour and 9 PM FREE Magic Show by local Hollywood Legend Magic Jack at Cinema Paradiso.

Gen QueerZ gives voice to eight college/university students in South Florida who are part of Generation Z, the first generation of LGBTQ+ people to be “out” while attending school and living at home. Produced by the Center in partnership with Safe Schools South Florida, the film will air at 7:30 PM on June 24 on WPBT-Channel 2 in Broward and Miami-Dade counties and 5:30 PM on June 26 on WXEL-Channel 42 reaching the Palm Beaches and the Treasure Coast.
